December 15, 2023

The "Remote Work Skills Training for Women Entrepreneurs" program, conducted under Erasmus+ project titled "European Digital Skills Hub for Remote Workers (RemoteNET)," in which our agency participated as a partner, was completed on December 14th. The training program took place both face-to-face and online.

During the opening speech of the training program, Emine Doğrukök, the Acting Secretary-General of Ankara Development Agency, emphasized that the RemoteNET project was developed to address the digital skill deficiencies of individuals and organizations in the post-pandemic era, where remote working has become a new norm. She highlighted that the training program organized within the project's scope aimed to strengthen the remote work skills of women entrepreneurs, aspiring women entrepreneurs, and women employees.

The program commenced with a general introduction to the project and a presentation on the Digital Workstation, one of the project's outcomes, by Dr. İlhan Doğan, the project coordinator and faculty member at Istanbul University's Faculty of Economics. Subsequently, participants were provided with insights into the content and sample applications of the training modules produced as project outputs, including Digital Communication Skills and Tools, Digital – Cyber Security, Meeting Software, and Digital Collaboration Platforms, by the experts from the Agency involved in the project.

The hybrid training event, both online and face-to-face, received significant interest from participants in both settings. At the end of the training, it was emphasized that the final versions of the training modules and additional outputs produced within the project's scope, which will be completed in February 2024, can be accessed at https://remote-net.eu/tr/.
