Ankara, The Parliament Magazine'de yer aldı

"The Parliament Magazine" 17 Şubat 2014 tarihli yayınında Ankara'ya yer verdi. Ankara'nın tarihi ve kültürel değerlerinden bahsedildiği tanıtımda, Ankara'nın sağlık, eğitim, finans konularında son yıllarda aldığı mesafeye dikkat çekildi. Sayfada ayrıca Ankara'nın, CNBC-e Business Dergisi tarafından "Yaşanabilir Şehirler" sıralamasında birinci geldiği hatırlatıldı. Yayında, Ajansımızdan da bahsedilerek, Ankara'da yatırım yapmak isteyenlere sunulan hizmetler anlatıldı.

Avrupa Parlamentosu üyelerine, Avrupa Komisyonu yetkililerine, üye ülke temsilcilerine ve Avrupa Birliği kurumlarına dağıtımı yapılan derginin internet sitesinin 80 bin ziyaretçisi, 12 bin twitter takipçisi var.

 

"Ankara, the capital of the Republic of Turkey, has a dynamic population of 5 million people. Being the second largest gross value added generator, Ankara is the heart of human and creative capital in Turkey. Ankara is prominent with services just like other European capitals. Especially health, education, banking and finance, tourism and construction companies are concentrated in the city.

Ankara has reputable high world ranking universities with more than 240 thousand students cherishing the city's life. There are 21 higher education institutions with top notch engineering and medical schools. In addition to high tech sector zones, Ankara has 7 active organized industrial zones where a proper infrastructure, facilitation and low energy costs apply. There are also strong sectorial clusters such as construction machinery, medical technologies, rubber industries, railway commute systems, renewable energy and defense and aviation. All of the organized industrial zones are located within 50 kilometers from the city center and in a very close proximity to the main highway and railway connections. Ankara Logistics Base with customs services next to the 5 main organized industrial zones provides a rapid transportation facility for foreign trade needs.

In its many thousand years of history, Ankara hosted a wide variety of civilizations and empires. All these cultures and civilizations shaped the identity of Ankara. Castle of Warrior Galatias, Temple Augustus dating back to the Phrygians and Hacı Bayram-ı VeliMosque of the Ottoman share the same space. Roman Ankara was the capital city of King Midas, and the eastern gate of East-Roman Empire.  Thus, Ankara attracts high number of tourists from all those countries with its great potential in cultural tourism.

According to the results of a study conducted by CNBC-e Business Journal titled "Liveable Cities of Turkey", Ankara was granted the rank of "Most Liveable City of Turkey" from 2010 to 2013. The capital city sits on top of the list for four years now. This does not seem to change anytime soon.
